the Indian city of Amritsar. It is located 11 kilometers northwest of the city center, nearby
the village of Raja Sansi. The airport not only serves Amritsar district, it also serves
Punjab areas, the western districts of Himachal Pradesh and the southern districts of
Jammu and Kashmir.
The capacity of Amritsar International Airport was doubled thanks
to the expansion works done by the construction of the adjacent terminal.
