The Palampur-Bajinath route is very picturesque road with lovely tea gardens along the way.

BAJINATH TEMPLE
On the way to Barot the historical Bajinath temple came. We stopped at Bajinath for paying obeisance. The Baijnath temple is lovely surrounded by hills on all sides. This is one of Shiva Jyotirlings. It was very peaceful and serene place. At the backside of temple there was a garden. Inside the temple we can’t use our cameras so we took some pictures in the garden which had a beautiful view.

We left Baijinath temple and continue our journey towards Barot. The road to Barot branches of to the left at Ghatasni. The road from Ghatasni is a single, lonely, adventurous road, which passes through beautiful scenery along UHL River. It was just a treat to eyes to see the beauty of Barot.

BAROT HOTEL
There were a number of home stays in Barot. We roomed about in the market and enquired about them. Everybody seemed to suggest Holiday home stay. On checking, we found this suitable for us and decided to stay for the night at this place. There was ample parking for the car. The guest house was located on the stream side. The Food was also available in our guest house. The rooms were on the first floor. From are guest house beautiful view of streams and hills were shown

BAROT CAMP FIRE
in the evening, we planned for a camp fire, we went 2 km upward from Barot by walk for collecting the woods. We cut the woods and gathered the woods lying in the forest. It was really dark and pin drop silence was there in the forest. Some of our members were hesitant to go to the forest but we continued our journey and collected the woods. It was really adventurous for us.
We got late and it was quite dark and can you imagine from the forest our team would come with the help of torch. Some of our members add more spices in the forest journey by telling horror stories. It was really an adventurous journey.

Then we found a suitable place near the UHL River for camp fire. Our whole team enjoyed a lot during camp fire. We danced and sang songs on camp fire. Campfire, river, forest and hills made our evening best and memorable evening for our whole life. After spending some happy hours, we came back to our guest house. Then we had dinner and went to our rooms. We talked till 3 ‘o clock then we decided to go to sleep

BAROT SCENERY
we were awestruck at the very first sight of Barot. It is so beautiful. We all were wondering how we missed this place so far. May be it was not very popular and not promoted so well. People like us who are more attracted to the beauty of Nature must visit once in their life. The area, the surroundings, the environment, the people, everything was in harmony
