My today&#8217;s blog is demanded by my blog reader Kiran Kaur from Punjab. She wants to know about the selection procedure in internships. On my last blog, I mentioned some of the types of internships and I also suggest some outer paths to you for your better career. So, now my next blog is for telling you about <strong>the procedure to enrol in internship. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some companies, the internship process may unpaid but <strong>this process provides people learning experience, practical knowledge which helps you to set the career goal.<\/strong> To apply for an internship, it is necessary to follow these criteria by the company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Application procedure<\/li><li>Recruitment process <\/li><li>Selection Test<\/li><li>Employment\/ Internship interview<\/li><li>Select designation <\/li><li>Internship offered <\/li><li>Contract of internship<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application procedure: <\/strong>In this process the company invites the candidates to enrol in this searching process through several mediums. But according to my opinion don\u2019t wait for the company\u2019s invitation for the process of recruitment, you can directly go to the company for your interview. Maybe you won\u2019t selected for a particular company go ahead and try new companies. Once you will reach your goal you felt lucky about yourself. There are so many applicants come in the company for their internships but luckily some of them are hired because of their talents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recruitment process<\/strong>: The Recruitment process is a process of recognizing the vacancy, examining the requirements of the position, application reviewing, screening of the candidates, shortlisting the applications and at the end selecting the candidate for the right position in the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recruitment process is not simple\nis that, and it is not easy to get internship in a good firm without having any\ntype of skills, following are some skills which employers wanted from his\nintern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the top 5 things companies\nwanted from his intern? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Career oriented <\/li><li>Good Communication skills<\/li><li>Positive attitude towards learning<\/li><li>Team Collaboration<\/li><li>Hard Working<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Test: <\/strong>After getting so many applications from candidates the organization conducta selection test process for the selected candidates, this process increases the chance of choosing the best applicant and so minimizing the high cost of recruiting the wrong people. It is based upon the formal interview session, which includes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Aptitude test <\/li><li> Intelligence test <\/li><li> Personality test  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Internship interview: <\/strong>In this process the company asked some general questions from the candidate but that questions much be in innovative way. For example, they will ask you question like \u201cWhat do you know about our company\u201d. It is very important that before going to the interview you must know at least some basic information about their company. Every organization expect from their employee to be knowledgeable about their workings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Some General Internship Questions companies my ask from you-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tell me a little bit about\nyourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are the strengthens\nand weaknesses? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What accomplishments are\nyou most proud of?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you work better under\npressure or with time to plan and organize?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why are you interested in\nthis internship?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why should we consider you\nfor this internship?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Internship offered: <\/strong>After selecting the position of the intern in the company. The organization offers an internship to the candidate and give invite to join the company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection of designation<\/strong>: Selection refers to then you have been chosen for internship and they select your designation in the office. Your work is depending upon the designation assigned by the company.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contract of internship<\/strong>: The contract of internship may vary from organization to organization. It starts from the period you entered in the organization and this contract in includes the details about your working duration, holiday, companion details and so on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Working in team environment is a\nliving experience itself. Getting knowledge from different personalities and\naccept different prospective is a skill that needs discipline, maturity, and\npatience. These three skills are the most important terms for your interview,\nand for career too.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as, my recruitment process is\nconcerns. My manager saw the ability to discover internet in me, they saw the\nbest in me with my habit of just exploring the internet the most. They told me\nonce that it\u2019s also a skill of yours. I just like to know each and everything\nwhich is knowledgeable. I really don\u2019t know when my interview was conducted,\nthey just put some questions from me about general internet sites. I easily\ngave that answers and I got selected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, I am a part of an IT company. I\nlearn new thing by working as team. Sometimes I teach something innovative to\nmy team members and sometimes they tough me some technical field work. Working\nin a team environment is the place where there is so many opportunities to\nlearn from. Collaboration is the art comes to meet the goal of developing\nothers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It can be learned through\ncollaborating on group projects, participating in each and every group\nactivity, hosting or planning large events of the company, implementing plans\nwith subordinates.Working in a team environment can encourage more productivity\nwhile allowing everyone to focus on what they\u2019re good at. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end, I just want to say that if being a married woman I can think about my career you all can do too.
